"Clifton Wiffdom"

Description

This is a view of the landmark Clifton triangle . As I was painting this scene , a lovely couple , originally from Germany , we're telling me how they first stayed in this crescent, on arriving in England . I was aquatinted with various people , who lived in nearby flats and houses , all very friendly. The air was in constant sizzling aroma .
